When? September 21, 2021

Where? The Sky Lounge at The Upper House

Who? Mikyung Kim, founder and executive producer of creative production agency MKIM & Co; Jerry Wong, aka Jerry Haha, founder of creative studio Artificial Dust; and Michala Sabnani, content director of the South China Morning Post’s branded content division, Morning Studio.

Here’s what you missed: On the eve of the Mid-Autumn festival, business leaders and entrepreneurs turned their thoughts to the future and the importance of young people. Tatler’s society editor Tara Sobti hosted the 13th edition Tatler’s House Stories, this month in collaboration with Gen.T, Tatler’s platform for young leaders. In a session filled with insight, the panellists spoke to a packed audience who came eager to learn how to engage with this bold and digitally savvy generation, also known as “zoomers”, defined as those born between 1996 and 2012. Topics included the value of Gen Z in the workforce, the difference between Gen Z in Asia and their peers in the West and the importance of hiring the right creative personnel for brand campaigns. The evening ended with Sobti asking all the panellists about their leftfield predictions for what Gen Z’s future may hold.
