Before Hong Kong’s power players jet set for the summer, they made sure to stop by the Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong on Friday for BMW’s “Own the Moment” launch party, which unveiled its top-of-the-line vehicles, the X7 SUV and 8 Series Coupé. To celebrate the German brand’s commitment to opulence, BMW partnered with lifestyle brands to install luxe exhibits inside the Diamond Ballroom, and the soirée was a feast for the senses. Early in the evening, Brandon Chau and William Lo admired “The 8 Gentlemen Essentials,” a showroom of suits curated by bespoke menswear brand Attire House, and the grand unveiling was preceded by a colourful painting performance by American artist Kate March. Guests toasted the big reveal with custom cocktails by distilleries Glenlivet and Aberlour, and Will Lam excitedly posed for a photo op next to the new Coupé.
