Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds made their first public appearance as a family at Ryan's Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony. Ryan gladly acknowledged his wife during his speech saying, "I want to thank my wife, Blake, who is sitting right there who is everything to me. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me". Then he jested, "—second only to this star". Jokes aside, family means the world to Ryan. As he puts it, it was an "iconic" moment for the whole family.

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively first met when they were cast in Green Lantern. It was how Ryan saw how respectable Blake's work ethic was. During Wondercon in 2011, Ryan shared how Blake would leave the set at 1am and return to work at 6am without complaint.
Blake also shared her admiration for Ryan's performance in Buried while inside a coffin. She said, "I know how rewarding that experience is because it's absolutely terrifying to have to carry a movie by yourself and just use your imagination".

Apart from the hilarious Instagram comments and Twitter banter, the couple also trolls each other through Instagram photos on memorable days. Blake Lively began when she posted a candid photo of Ryan Reynolds at the Time 100 gala with a heartfelt caption that said: "Congratulations to the most influential person in my life. The best man I know... you deserve this @time 100 [honour]... If only my husband wasn't blocking you in this shot. I'm so sorry @johnlegend (John Legend)".
