For our September 2014 issue, we took Benjamin Yong and Elizabeth Lee, a pair of lovebirds who will soon be joined in holy matrimony, through a food-focused fun-filled photoshoot.
For this shoot, we drafted out a date-oriented theme based on their past dates and experiences - much thanks to Elizabeth's sister, Shen-Tel Lee. The day started off by the pool side. Digging into dripping cones of Ben&Jerry’s Chunky Monkey and Phish Food, Ben and Liz—as they have insisted we call them—chatted away languidly as Chai snapped pictures of them.
We then moved on to the locale of Jalan Pudu to a coffee shop that Ben took Liz on their first date. Take three was in the couple’s kitchen, where Ben put on an apron and worked a juicer to make fresh orange juice for his lady love. We then zipped over to Ben’s — one of the many restaurants Ben owns — for the final picture.
