Ariella Nasser-Moskovitz, president of Philexcel Business Park, together with the acclaimed Brazilian neo-pop artist Romero Britto, cut the ceremonial ribbon to inaugurate the Jack R Nasser Collection of the Philexcel Art Centre at the Clark Freeport in Pampanga. Now open to the viewing public, this collection comprises paintings by artists representing the Mabini Art genre collected by Philexcel founder, the late Jack Nasser, over 60 years. Also on exhibit were 12 paintings by Britto, guest of honour at the launch. The Brazilian artist’s visual expression of hope and happiness, fusing influences from cubism with pop art and graffiti, has become the trademark of his iconic style.
