Malaysian Brand Frankitas Collaborates With The Uzbekistan Embassy For New Collection
The psychedelic colours of the ikat textile has become a trademark of Frankitas, a Malaysian ethical fashion brand that supports artisans from Malaysia and around the region. The brand recently partnered with the Uzbekistan Embassy to launch an all new collection that modernises the Uzbek ikat in conjunction with the republic's 28th Anniversary of independence. The soiree promoting culture exchange between the two countries were officiated by Uzbekistan ambassador to Malaysia HE Ravshan Usmanov and our deputy minister of youth and sports, Steven Sim.
