Guests flew in from as far as Kuala Lumpur to support the SAGA Health Access Programme (SHAPE) fundraiser in Sabah. Held in Hilton Kota Kinabalu, the black tie gala dinner successfully raised RM290,000 in aid of patients with HIV and other chronic illnesses in rural Sabah. During her speech, Professor Dato' Dr Adeeba Kamarulzaman gave Sabah the challenge to be the first state in the nation to be AIDS-free. The evening was also enlivened with soulful musical performances by MusicWorks and Dayang Nurfaizah.
