Tan Pei Jun and Gigi Leow, the brainchild behind purveyor of premium Japanese food products OONEE, recently partnered with Sage Restaurant's Chef Daniel Cheong to curate an exclusive dinner showcasing the delicacies their company has to offer. An exciting array of starters greeted the 25 select guests including Caramelised Hotate (scallops) with Lily Bulb Veloute as well as Ikura and Somen Noodles with Botan Ebi and Bafun Uni. For the main course, guests tucked into either the juicy Sous Vide of Grass Fed Chicken with Foie Gras and Garlic Mirin Soy or the succulent 2 Way of Tomahawk and Miyazaki with Yuzukoshou and Chasseur Sauce. An online business since its inception in Nov 2019, OONEE is expected to open its first physical store in October this year.
