In memory of his late mother and in conjunction with what would be her 99th birthday, photographer Eric Peris held an exhibition of his photography simply but aptly titled, 'A Flower Does Not Talk'. The collection of photographs featured shots of flowers from Peris's mother's own garden, which tatler_stories he attempts to immortalise in his photos.
Paul Ho, senior executive director of Fujifilm who was the main sponsor of the exhibition, mentioned in his opening speech that it was also a collaboration to help keep the art of photography alive among aspiring photographers. By holding the exhibition, he hopes to give back and inspire future photographers to go after their art.
A buffet dinner was served following the speeches, after which guests like Dato' Vijay Kumar and Datin Kim Natarajan continued studying the photographs on display.
