Here's what your week ahead will look like from October 24 to 30

Welcome back to our weekly astrology series led by Hong Kong-based Western astrologer, De Rui.

The mood gets more serious as the Sun begins to transit Scorpio. Guilty pleasures beckon with Venus in touch with Jupiter and Neptune. Unpredictable, accident-prone energies may be upon us once again.

Don't let heavy expectations weigh you down

Stars signs affected the most: Capricorn can step up to the plate.

The Sun’s shift into Scorpio is a time when what has been left unsaid or unaddressed must now be confronted. The Sun’s first few days in this sign also bring harsh contact with Saturn, the planet of responsibility and restriction. The energy is likely to feel more serious and sombre. Fulfilling other people’s expectations might seem harder than usual. Success will depend on us being able to overcome feelings of inadequacy or lack.

Indulge in guilty pleasures

Stars signs affected the most: Aries and Gemini may catch a lucky break.

Venus contacts this week will bring out our sense of beauty and fantasy. If you feel pulled, go ahead and indulge in some guilty pleasures. More consequential decisions, such as those involving your finances, should be handled with care while we have the rose-coloured glasses on. The Moon’s path this week can bring up themes from the past or from childhood.

Be gentle to yourself

Stars signs affected the most: Aquarius and Pisces might need a time out.

Mercury goes back over Libra territory it traversed earlier, making contact with Uranus and Neptune once again. Impulsive thoughts and ill-considered actions are possible, so pay extra attention to the road or if doing anything physically active. More sensitive souls should head for nature or to a spa, at least, to give your frazzled nerves a break.
