The New Moon this coming Saturday will bring healing to deepen family dynamics. This is Tatler's weekly horoscope for the week of July 4 to 10

Welcome back to our weekly astrology series led by Hong Kong-based Western astrologer, De Rui.

Restless, bottled-up energy is looking for release. Getting closer to what you want may need you to first believe you deserve to have it. The New Moon on Saturday promises to bring healing to family dynamics.

Roll with restlessness

Star signs impacted the most: Taurus, Leo, and Aquarius can bounce around.

American Independence Day at the start of this week portends a buzzy, vibrant charge. Physically we can feel moved to be out and about, working out any pent-up energy. Mentally we may come up with off-the-wall ideas, though they may not be the most practical. Roll with the restlessness by avoiding big risks and not expecting clarity.

Reflection and healing

Star signs impacted the most: Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius should keep their cool.

Midweek, Venus, which rules over all that we value, comes up for healing. This may be a time when what you want seems just out of reach. At the same time, a positive contact with asteroid Chiron, the Wounded Healer, is an opening to examine how your self-esteem is or isn’t supporting your efforts.

Setting new goals for physical and emotional safety

Star signs impacted the most: Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn can play detective.

Later in the week, the urge to dig beneath the surface takes over. We can take a magnifying glass to superficial appearances and explanations when the Moon and Mercury come together to form a hard contact with Pluto. Family resources, in particular, can come up for discussion at this time. By Saturday’s New Moon in Cancer, the time will be ripe for setting new goals for creating physical and emotional safety.
