The Hong Kong-based programme works to create a sense of community and awareness through the power of film

Films have always brought people together—from Charlie Chaplin's silent films that drew raucous laughter from early generations of theatre-goers, to the collective emotions evoked by the timeless dramas and romances that have graced the silver screen.

Founded by Hong Kong-based entrepreneur and yoga teacher Cristina McLauchlan, Conscious Cinema utilises the power of film, followed by engaging talks with experts, to create a sense of community and awareness about everything from conscious consumerism to spiritual paradigms.
