Two new additions in solid gold join this exciting collection—Moonshine Gold and Sedna Gold
The Aqua Terra Shades collection takes Omega in a bold new direction with its distinctive array of coloured dials. With models available in two case sizes, 34mm and 38mm, one would be hard pressed to pick just one colour, as they all look seriously good. The coloured dials run the spectrum from ocean to earth, encompassing unique tones such as Atlantic Blue, Sea Blue, Lagoon Green, Bay Green, Sandstone, Terracotta, Saffron, Lavender and Shell Pink.

Now what’s interesting is how the dials acquire their vivid hues. First, brass dials are sun-brushed from the centre and then coated with a layer of lacquer to enhance their depth. Thanks to recent advancements and innovation, Omega employs two different types of treatments to achieve the desired colours. PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) technology achieves certain effects that allow for colours such as Terracotta, while CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition) technology triggers specific chemical reactions that produce shades like Sea Blue.

The two models feature slight differences in the dial. In the 34mm range, the hands and indexes are crafted in 18-karat white gold and shaped like sailboat hulls, whereas the 38mm models feature traditional rhodium-plated hands and indexes.

While each watch features a symmetrical case and crown in fully polished stainless steel, with a wave-edged design at the back, this latest collection boasts redesigned bracelets with smaller and more rounded links for a better fit on the wrist. The watch is powered by Omega’s Co-Axial Master Chronometer, known for its anti-magnetic legacy and precision.

The Omega Aqua Terra Shades collection launch in London saw the introduction of two new additions in solid gold. The first is the 38mm model, which has an 18-karat Sedna Gold case and bracelet; Omega’s proprietary red gold alloy is known for its warm tones and resistance to fading.
Meanwhile, the sun-brushed Sandstone dial is CVD-treated, and the bezel is paved with 46 diamonds. The smaller 34mm model is in 18-karat Moonshine Gold, a pale yellow gold alloy also owned by Omega. It features a Lagoon Green dial that’s matched with a pine green leather strap. Both models feature a circular date window at 6 o’clock, sailboat indexes, and are powered by Omega’s Co-Axial Master Chronometer calibre 8801.
