This highly sensual, yet extremely technical timepiece is just the beginning for Richard Mille and his sapphire collection to women.

Richard Mille has created a new timepiece to please the demanding clientele of women who's interest have peaked over the last few years in the complexitiy and technicality of luxury watches.

Introducing the new RM 07-02 Pink Lady Sapphire, an automatic calibre protected by a pink sapphire case that Richard Mille took inspiration from the famous Pink Lady cocktail.

Complexity at its purest form

One of the more complex cases ever created and manufactured by Richard Mille, the RM 07-02 was crafted from sections of genuine pink sapphire. From both an engineering and technical standpoint, no room for error could be afforded when it came to putting the pink sapphire case together.

Requiring almost forty days of machining and finishing before it could meet the uncompromising specifications laid out by Richard Mille, the RM 07-02 also had to go through numerous tests to verify the brand’s resistance and comfort requirements.

At the core of the RM 07-02

At the heart of the RM 07-02 lies the new in-house CRMA5 calibre that is assembled around a skeletonised plate in microblasted 5N gold set with diamonds. This luxury timepiece for women also features a variable geometry rotor in 18-karat 5N gold set with diamonds; this allows the watch to adapt its windings with the movements of the wearer.

Exceptional creation

As with any other RM collection, the RM 07-02 also features exceptional technical characteristics such as hand-decorated and gem-set gold bridges as well as a variable inertia balance wheel designed to ensure optimum performance for long-term usage. It also comes with a white alligator skin strap to add a classy and finishing touch to this exceptional creation.
