Finale Auctions is thrilled to present its second Watches & Jewellery auction to be held on Sunday the 19th of May. Take a preview of the masterpieces on auction block from today, May 9, onwards.
With another one-of-a-kind auction, Finale is determined to once again invite and excite collectors and connoisseurs alike from around the globe with its sophomore auction of watches and jewellery.
At the pole position of the watches on offer is an example many consider to be a horological holy grail: The Rolex Daytona Reference 6239, Paul Newman Panda. The example up for auction is in pristine condition and shares the exact same reference and dial as Paul Newman’s own watch. This will be one of few chances available to own one of the most iconic watches in history.
Another exquisite example is a limited edition watch from iconic watch house and designer Richard Mille. The Richard Mille RM 030 NTPT Asia Exclusive demonstrates equal parts signature design and engineering prowess. Not satisfied with one Richard Mille, an RM 028 will also be going under the hammer.
Joining this incredible lineup is a large curated collection of 22 Seiko timepieces, with a selection from limited edition Seiko and Grand Seiko models. It’s a lot that’s sure to delight both fans of the brand’s storied history as well as enthusiasts looking to dive into the robust designs and unique technology behind their exceptional high-end movements. This will be the first time in the Philippines that a Seiko collection this large and rare will be offered as one lot, all in mint and brand new condition complete with full documentation.
A wide range of Patek Philippe complications are presented as well as models from the Nautilus line, namely the reference 5980 chronograph, the reference 3710 and a brand new reference 5711. With their popularity and long waiting lists these timepieces are highly prized. Limited edition and rare examples from celebrated houses of Audemars Piguet, A. Lange & Sohne, Vacheron Constantin, IWC, and Tudor are also open to bids. An exceptional line-up of vintage Rolex watches will be going under the hammer, including an ultra rare GMT-Master reference 6542 with its instantly recognizable two-tone “Pepsi” bezel, tropical dial examples, and a selection of hard-to-find Daytonas which include a reference 16520 floating dial R-Series, A-series, and Patrizzi dial, a reference 6240, and various GMT and Submariner examples including one stamped Tiffany & Co. will be available to discerning collectors. Last but not least are two examples of UAE stamped Rolex models and an exceptionally rare GMT “Batman” custom piece made for the Sultanate of Oman.
