The official World Cup 2018 watch boasts a 49mm titanium case that is typical Big Bang complete with the signature H-shaped screws on the bezel. The mechanism within, however, is Android technology, making this the first Big Bang smartwatch, which is limited to 2,018 pieces.

Designed with the needs of the football referee (and the hardcore football fan) in mind , it is endowed with a goal-line technology to better determine whether the ball actually crossed the goal line or not. As such, the watch vibrates each time a goal is scored during a match. Additionally, it sends out notifications 15 minutes before each match, announces player changes, shows the number of yellow and red cards handed out, names of the goal scorers and even the match time.

One of its best highlights is the choice of 32 different faces inspired by the flags of the participating countries. Just swipe and select the team’s flag of your choice to appear on your dial. What happens when World Cup is over? No problem – just switch to the analog Big Bang dial that looks no different from that on a mechanical Hublot watch.

The 44mm chronograph in 5N pink gold and ceramic features a matt navy blue dial with hands and hour indexes decorated in red and yellow, the colours of the Spanish flag in a fitting tribute Spain that beat the Netherlands in that year’s World Cup. An atypical 45-minute counter at ‘9’ alludes to the official length of a football match. Limited to 100 numbered pieces, it boasts a sapphire crystal caseback adorned with the Spanish flag and the gold star symbol of World Cup champions.
