New launches and exciting collaborations abound this month

1. Breitling

Motoring and watchmaking collaborations are commonplace, but partnerships that stand the test of time aren’t. Bentley and Breitling have unveiled a new timepiece that celebrates 17 years of association, which they claim is the longest ever between a watchmaker and automobile manufacturer. Limited to 1,000 pieces, the new watch takes inspiration from Bentley’s new Continental GT Mulliner Convertible—more specifically, the car’s dashboard. Its 42mm steel case is presented with a blue alligator leather strap.

2. Girard-Perregaux

Girard-Perregaux’s latest Laureato watch stays true to its signature collection, which was first introduced in 1975 after the 1967 film The Graduate (Il Laureato in Italian), starring Dustin Hoffman. The Laureato Absolute Light features the line’s octagonal bezel, integrated bracelet, baton hands and a hobnail-patterned dial. But this sporty, 88-piece limited edition takes things one step further with its sapphire and titanium case, which means you can see the sophisticated skeletonised movement from all sides.

3. Ulysse Nardin

Having partnered with adventure photographer Carsten Peter, Ulysse Nardin adds two models to its kookiest collection: the Freak X Ice in titanium and Freak X Magma in red carbon fibre and titanium black DLC. Both boast a nifty flying carrousel movement with a power reserve of 72 hours, which can be viewed through a sapphire case back.

4. Omega

Omega has added two new dials to its Seamaster Aqua Terra collection: one in blue, and one in green. Almost identical to all the current Seamaster models in stainless steel, both feature a handsome teak deck motif on the sun-brushed dial and a date aperture at six o’clock. Choose between a choice of steel bracelet or matching coloured leather strap.
