Lucia Silvestri, Bulgari’s creative director of jewellery, helped design the watchmaker’s latest Divissima and Allegra cocktail watches, which combine coloured gemstones and diamonds in various ways. Inspired by what Bulgari calls the “joie de vivre of la Dolce Vita”, the pictured Allegra watch comes with a rose gold case set with 82 round brilliant-cut diamonds and a mix of faceted and cabochon-cut gemstones. A mother-of-pearl dial is set with 12 diamond indexes for added glamour, while a taupe-coloured alligator strap ensures a comfortable fit.

A vintage-inspired collection, Cartier’s Libre line previously came in gorgeous tones of burgundy, emerald and gold. For Watches & Wonders 2021, the brand has unveiled a stunning tortoise-theme Baignoire timepiece, which is limited to 50 individually numbered watches. A playful scale motif is achieved using clusters of diamonds and tiny slivers of black anthracite. Buff-topped tsavorites and sapphires have been carefully arranged along the watch’s sides, which really brings this novelty’s influence to life.

Limelight Gala Precious Sunset by Piaget

Limited to 50 pieces, the Limelight Gala Precious Sunset by Piaget comes in a pretty 18-karat rose gold case. A white mother-of-pearl dial is elevated by 32 brilliant-cut pink sapphires and ten brilliant-cut diamonds that are elegantly set into the asymmetrical bezel, which is strapped onto the wrist with help from a soft white-coloured satin strap.

The watchmaker’s classic Oyster Perpetual Datejust 36 gets an update with a silver, palm-motif dial and jubilee bracelet, which was specifically designed for the Datejust collection in celebration of Rolex's 40th anniversary in 1945. Oystersteel is combined with warm 18-karat Everose gold, and the resulting case is beautifully feminine. Waterproof to 100 metres, this stunning timepiece is fitted with a fluted bezel.

If you like your fair share of shimmer, Vacheron Constantin’s new Égérie Self-Winding Diamond-Pavé models are for you. Two novelties have been released for Watches & Wonders 2021: one in white gold; the other in pink gold. The case and dial are peppered with over 900 round-cut diamonds that total an impressive 4.10 carats. Collectors can choose from two interchangeable, navy-blue straps in either alligator leather or satin.
