The 1858 Geosphere honours the heroes of mountain climbing and, earlier this year, Montblanc released a new iteration of the 1858 Geosphere with an ice-blue dial.

The whole idea behind this watch is inspired by the Seven Summits, a climbing challenge whereby mountaineers set out to conquer the highest peaks on each continent, making this watch the top choice for adrenaline junkie dads.

Made using grade 5 titanium, the case is light and resistant to scratches, while Super-LumiNova coats the numerals and world time dials for added visibility at night.

The jeweller's Force 10 collection is suitable all year-round thanks to its iconic braided steel sailor's cable and weighty gold buckle, Handsome as well as masculine, the line comes in a variety of colours, but we especially love this modest white gold model that's the perfect gift for your fun-loving father.

For The Fashionable Dad

In 1904, Brazilian pilot and inventor Alberto Santos-Dumont was gifted by French watchmaker Louis Cartier the world's very first pilot's watch.

This year, new limited editions of the subsequently named Santos-Dumont model were released. All come with a signature bezel complete with industrial screws and sleek lines.

If you can get your hands on one, the Santos-Dumont "Le Brésil”, which is limited to 100 pieces, makes for a superb Father's Day gift.

Platinum and silver are elevated by a ruby cabochon that sits discreetly on the crown. Brushed and polished, the case back features an engraving of the original Santos-Dumont flying machine from 1904.

The Zenith Chronomaster Revival El Primero A384 comes with a retro-looking '60s "Gay Frères" ladder bracelet, which makes this watch the ideal choice for dads who love to start their sentences with, "Back in my day...".

The Revival El Primero A384 was first released last year, but it's Tonneau-shaped case (inspired by the original wristwatch) is classic and timeless.

Fewer than 3,000 pieces of the 1969 model were ever released, but thankfully there's plenty 2019's version to go around.
