From the race track to the wrist, IWC Schaffhausen’s mastery of precision timekeeping was on full display at its boutique event in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur
IWC Schaffhausen is on a winning streak. After astounding the horological world with the advanced Eternal Calendar and nabbing the top prize at Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève 2024 with the same watch, its profile expanded into the cinematic universe this year with a major partnership with Apple Original Films’ F1, starring Brad Pitt, Javier Bardem and Damson Idris.
All of which made this evening with IWC Schaffhausen truly electrifying. Celebrating engineering excellence on the ground and in the skies, the Swiss watchmaker and Tatler GMT welcomed guests to an exclusive event at its boutique in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. The focus of the evening was IWC’s latest Pilot’s Watches, inspired by the world of Formula 1—and, of course, the hit movie F1 —as well as the Ingenieur in a new case size of 35mm. The event kicked off with an introduction by boutique manager CK Lim, who shared insights into IWC’s storied heritage in aviation timepieces and its longstanding commitment to technical innovation.

A highlight of the evening came when guests discovered that the Eternal Calendar was also on display in the boutique. Seeing the award-winning watch up close was a rare treat that underscored the manufacture’s horological prowess.
