A military-inspired watch from the 1970s, the SkyDiver has been given a striking new design and an automatic heartbeat.
In its early days, Edox gained repute as a producer of water-resistant watches with a few impressive dive models such as the Hydro-Sub (water-resistant up to 500m) that celebrated its 50th anniversary four years ago.

Then there is the SkyDiver, which is built to perform on both land and sea with a water resistance of up to 300m. For its 135th anniversary, the SkyDiver gets a new look that is apparently based on a long-lost sketch of a “secret” watch created for elite Swiss mountain paratroopers in 1973.
Fans of rugged military-inspired watches will love how the SkyDiver Military (limited to 555 pieces) look. Also water-resistant up to 300m, it boasts an olive green unidirectional bezel and a caseback engraved with a parachute motif. Hands and indexes are coated with Superluminova X1. The watch is powered the automatic Swiss calibre 80.
