Access and advice are just two of the basics that Perpétuel has perfected in its quest to become the nexus for the horology community
The advent of social media and specialist sites has allowed information on watches to be shared with unprecedented ease. The proliferation of such, however, cannot replace certain key elements of horology appreciation. Chief among them is a thriving community of collectors where ideas and experiences can be exchanged freely and personally.
A trusted purveyor of timepieces, Perpétuel was established to meet this particular need of watch collectors at large—and more. The Dubai‐based gallery maintains an evolving collection of timepieces, historical artefacts and objets d’art that promise novelty and discovery with every visit.

It is this unique appeal that explains Perpétuel’s status as a destination for horology enthusiasts, whatever their taste and budget. Beyond building a community, Perpétuel seeks to educate and inspire.
Through such exchanges, it shapes broader conversations around collecting while perpetuating the legacy of craftsmen and artists alike.

To acquire its watches, Perpétuel relies on an extensive network that its founders—seasoned collector Hamdan Al Hudaidi and strategist Melika Yazdjerdi—have cultivated over decades. Contacts include horology enthusiasts, watchmakers such as Roger Smith and Fiona Krüger, and brands the likes of Singer Reimagined and Atelier de Chronométrie. Of course, access to rare and coveted timepieces alone would not suffice. Curation is another critical aspect of Perpétuel’s work, and the gallery performs this with aplomb by serving as advisor and tastemaker. The result is an altogether special range of timepieces on offer, from pièces uniques both vintage and modern to sterling examples of independent watchmaking.

What is also notable is how Perpétuel approaches each timepiece with respect for the brand’s approach and heritage. This reverence underscores every facet of its activities to ensure that the narrative behind every creation is protected and preserved. In the wider scheme of things, this attitude contributes towards building a culture of trust, transparency and knowledge acquisition, all to fulfil its founders’ vision of a connected and integrated horology community—with Perpétuel as its nexus.
Perpétuel is located at GV01 Podium Level, Gate Village, Dubai International Financial Centre, Dubai, UAE Tatler.
