根據美國商業雜誌《富比士》日前公布全球收入前 10 的足球員名單，冠軍為現年 23 歲的姆巴佩（Kylian Mbappe）是當今足壇年收入是最高的球員，他效力於法甲豪門巴黎聖日耳曼，薪水和本賽季簽約獎金的約 1.1 億美元，但這還不包括姆巴佩從合作品牌 Nike、Dior、Hublot、Oakley 和 Panini 得到的代言費，約 1800 萬美元，這樣一年加總下來收入約為 1.28 億美元（約新台幣 40 億 6 千萬元）成為 2022 年度收入最高的足球員。
