A sophisticated watch to greet the Chinese New Year, it boasts an impressive orbital moon phase with unparalleled precision
First presented in 2005, the Chopard L.U.C Lunar One is a remarkable perpetual calendar, complete with a double moon-phase display with a high level of accuracy, deviating only by one day after 122 years. Positioned at 6 o'clock within the small seconds counter, the moon phases mirror how one would see them from the Northern and Southern Hemispheres, complemented by a rotating night sky. The watch also features two large date windows at 12 o’clock and a 24-hour counter at 9 o'clock.
Timekeeping and calendar functions are made possible by the self-winding L.U.C Calibre 96.13-L, one of the few perpetual calendars to boast a micro-rotor.

Above Chopard L.U.C Lunar One in white gold with salmon pink ethical gold dial
The L.U.C Lunar One case has been subtly redesigned for a more contemporary flair. Available in either white or rose gold, the dial features a striking sunburst guilloché pattern that radiates from the moon-phase indicator. There is a choice of salmon pink dial (with white gold) or blue dial (rose gold).
Additionally, Chopard is introducing an interchangeable strap system for the model, a first for the family-owned manufacture. Apart from two alligator leather and calfskin straps that come with the timepiece, there will also be an assortment of additional straps in a variety of textures and colours available in the Chopard boutique.
