Chopard ambassador Bella Hadid unveiled a new Ice Cube collection in Dubai recently. The first piece is a replica of the original Ice Cube from the late 1990s. Its standout features are the Asscher-cut diamonds, set to mirror the sleek geometry of the Ice Cube square case in 18-karat ethical white gold. The blued hands complement the icy aesthetic.
Caroline Scheufele, Chopard’s co-president and artistic director, personally oversaw the re-edition. “The Ice Cube watch has long embodied Chopard’s bold attitude, defying preconceived notions of design with its new geometric precision and modern elegance. This re-edition in ethical gold is the ideal balance of innovation and tradition,” she said.

The Ice Cube amplifies its architectural shape in the secret watch. Resembling a cascade of ice cubes dipped in rose gold and diamonds to form a cuff that exudes high glamour, the interlocking cubes—a total of 102 cubes, each individually polished three times—ensure the flowing articulation of the bracelet, the soft feel on the skin, and the abundance of shimmering reflections. It is adorned with 36 princess-cut diamonds weighing a total of 8.54 carats. One of the cubes opens with a soft click to reveal a watch dial.
