Spurred by last year’s success of the BR03-92 Diver featuring the brand’s emblematic square case in steel, Bell & Ross introduces two new versions this year – in bronze and in blue. These watches were launched in Malaysia recently in Langkawi.
Diving helmets of the past and present inspire both watches. The bronze gets its cues from the cumbersome vintage helmet in copper and brass while the blue references the modern, and mercifully more lightweight, rendition.
Beautifully designed and solidly built, the BR03-92 is a professional dive watch with a self-winding movement and a water resistance of up to 300m. It is also fitted with a 60-minute unidirectional rotating bezel with a luminescent mark at ‘12’.
The indexes are coated with white SuperLuminova while the hour hand is in yellow. The latter fades away in dim conditions, allowing only the minute hand to shine; this hand serves as a crucial timing guide underwater.
