Limited to eight pieces, all 2,251 diamonds were responsibly sourced via the Kimberley Process. Striking even without the snow-set diamonds, the watch's distinctive dial features a 7-day power reserve and tourbillon bridges (at 4 o'clock and 6 o'clock respectively) in the shape of a boomerang.

This year, the bronze BR 03-92 diver is complemented with a red lacquer dial, anodised red bezel, and a reddish brown strap. Together, they lend the watch a robust appearance, befitting its ability to travel as deep as 300m in the ocean. Limited to 500 pieces.

The aim of Moser's latest creation may have been to showcase its signature blue fumé (or smoked) dial but the quirky pixelated hour hand that looks like it could have crawled out of a retro video game commands attention. Moser worked with Parisian watch company seconde/seconde/ to create this hand that is said to resemble an eraser.

According to seconde/seconde/: "The 'hand swap' principle is designed to switch one or more hands on an existing watch and it is driven by a latent disrespect impulse. I want to upset the balance. Create disharmony. This dissonance is my way of disorienting the product, deconstructing it so that I can then reconstruct it."

I see the eraser as a banal everyday object which is taking power over the prestigious exceptional object. It is a metaphor for removal and for minimalism, notions clearly dear to H. Moser but also a metaphor for that constant striving effort. To sometimes find what you seek, you must constantly make mistakes, and erase.

Only 20 pieces will ever be produced.

Louis Vuitton is interpreting its Tambour watch as a diver with an urban attitude. With a depth capability of up to 100m, the watch features a crown for the diving bezel at '1.30', inscribed with a silhouette of a diver to distinguish it from the winding crown. Since luminosity is essential during a dive, the key indicators are coated generously in Superluminova. 

Available in three automatic models in 44mm and a quartz version in 39.5mm.

Inspired by Moomin, a comic strip by Finnish artist and writer Tove Jansson, the automatic watch features a skeletonised dial composes of three layers and eight hand-painted colours coated with Superluminova. Available exclusively at The Hour Glass, the watch, which is limited to 20 pieces, will be presented with a fabric roll made by Finnish textile maker, Finlayson.

Taking man's obsession with space to the next level is this remarkable Urwerk watch that is actually capable of tracking Earth's rotation. Above the 60-minute minute track from 4 o'clock to 8 o'clock are indicators that track the 555km Earth travels on its axis every 20 minutes (starting at 9 o'clock) and our home planet's revolution around the sun every 20 minutes (starting at 3 o'clock).

Although of no practical use to practically everyone, you cannot deny they are still very cool displays to have on your wrist. To complement its interstellar, the steel case is coated in PVD, as are the canvas strap and buckle as well as the components of its automatic movement.
