In the heart of Singapore’s premier luxury precinct, the German manufacture has expanded its Ion Orchard home into a two-storey sanctuary designed to immerse connoisseurs in the uncompromising technical artistry of Glashütte

A. Lange & Söhne has unveiled its newly transformed Singapore flagship boutique at Ion Orchard, cementing the German manufacture’s commitment to Southeast Asia’s sophisticated watch culture. Opened in October 2025, the premises now span two storeys and a total of 211 square metres, establishing this location as the largest A. Lange & Söhne boutique in the Asia-Pacific region.

This major expansion and remarkable transformation is designed to raise the bar on how to experience the manufacture's artistry. It moves beyond traditional retail, introducing fresh concepts intended to immerse connoisseurs in the intricate world of A. Lange & Söhne.

The boutique’s architecture is a considered synthesis of modernity and tradition, reflecting the manufacture's philosophy to “never stand still”. The visual identity unfolds in stately black and grey tones, beautifully offset by soft white walls, plush furnishings, and textured finishes. This aesthetic restraint is deliberate, allowing the timepieces—characterised by tradition, innovation, and the highest level of craftsmanship—to take centre stage.

Stepping into the space, the digital History Wall catches the eye with its interactive screens enhancing the introduction to the brand's rich heritage. Lining the walls alongside it are vitrines showcasing models from all watch families, together with curated historic pocket watches.

The architectural centrepiece, however, is the 9-metre-high Wall of Parts. This soaring installation connects the two floors and showcases every one of the 451 components that make up the brand’s revolutionary Zeitwerk movement. Its impressive height allows for a complete, educational view of the watch's individual components, making the complexity of the brand's manufacture calibres immediately tangible.

The upper floor represents the elevation of the client experience. A sweeping staircase leads to this luxurious private area, which comprises two sales salons, a lounge, a presentation and theatre section, and an exclusive watchmaking experience corner. This exclusive domain is surrounded by elegant bookcases, objets d'art, and rare timepieces, intentionally designed to inspire conversation and discovery.

“We are delighted to welcome watch enthusiasts to our new flagship boutique at Ion Orchard,” says Wilhelm Schmid, CEO of A. Lange & Söhne. “This location not only represents a milestone in our retail journey, but also beautifully articulates our motto “never stand still”. At A. Lange & Söhne, we are constantly innovating—both through our watches, as well as with the experiences that we offer—for watch lovers and Lange enthusiasts here in Singapore and across the region.”
