Crafted entirely in titanium, including the bracelet, the material offers protection against corrosion from salty air, which is apt considering that the watch is designed for seafaring. Its satin-brushed surface makes a handsome match with the sunburst slate-gray dial in gold.

Guillochage usually results in straight lines or circles but the Breguet artists have found a way to manipulate it to create a wavy pattern on the dial. What’s more, it was performed on extremely fragile mother-of-pearl. The process took several months and included the development of special cams for the engine-turning lathes. Impressively, the winding rotor, visible on the caseback, also features the same material and pattern.

This beautiful nautical reference is aptly paired with Roman numerals in the shape of nautical pennants and a seconds hand with a nautical flag tip. The rose gold case glitters with a diamond-set bezel; look closely and you’ll also find that the case side is fluted for a more distinctive look.

Breguet’s signature ladies’ model is more striking than ever in red. The Arabic numerals and leather strap come in this bold shade, and the narrative extends to the cabochon-cut ruby on the crown. A showcase in understated glamour, the oval case is in white gold while the silvered gold dial features an hour-and-minute counter with Clous de Paris hobnail pattern. At ‘6’ is a pear-shaped diamond while the bezel and flange are set with 117 brilliant-cut diamonds.
