Cover Prada defies convention with its “Couleur Vivante” high jewellery collection

Guided by Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons, the “Couleur Vivante” collection cements Prada’s place in the world of haute joaillerie. Beyond the value of luxury, it is a declaration of colour, freedom and creative spirit, unbound by familiar codes.

In this collection, Prada departs from the traditional rules of jewellery. Rather than being guided by rarity alone, gemstones were chosen for the expressive quality of their hues. Amethyst, turquoise aquamarine, honey-yellow citrine, pink morganite and green peridot are set together in an improvisational manner, creating blocks of colour that clash yet remain harmonious. This audacious approach redefines luxury, giving rise to an aesthetic language uniquely Prada.

The Italian fashion house also reimagines timeless forms such as drop earrings, solitaire rings, line bracelets and rivière necklaces. In the hands of Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons, these pieces take on renewed character through asymmetrical proportions, broken rhythms and deliberate contrasts. The result is jewellery that feels sculptural, sophisticated and entirely individual.

To launch the collection, Prada unveiled a campaign captured by David Sims, fronted by three muses: Maya Hawke, Kim Tae-Ri and Amanda Gorman. Against pared-back monochrome backdrops softened by translucent pastels, the trio appear in a dreamlike world where jewellery transcends ornament, radiating as a spectrum of light and colour.

Distinctive not only in design but also in transparency, each creation in the “Couleur Vivante” collection is registered on the Aura Consortium Blockchain, co-founded by Prada, LVMH and Cartier. This system allows clients to trace the entire journey, from rough gemstone to finished piece. Every jewel is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from a recognised institute, ensuring its provenance and value.
