Apart from the country pavilions, there will also be special pavilions designed around a theme such as the Terra Sustainability Pavilion that will be built in strict accordance to the criteria set by LEED Platinum, the highest accreditation for sustainable architecture.
Cartier's Women's Pavilion is another special pavilion, this time championing women's issues with an exhibition titled New Perspectives that celebrate the many significant ways women had made a positive impact on the world. At the same time, it also highlights the challenges women still face today.
As gender inequality persists and continues to impact women lives, the imperative to show unity and togetherness in promoting women empowerment has become ever clearer.— Cyrille Vigneron, President & CEO of Cartier International
The Women's Pavilion signifies Cartier's commitment to breaking and deconstructing gender stereotypes by functioning as a safe space for both women and men to further their ideas for women empowerment and beyond.
