The French fashion diamond jewellery brand’s Tatler House pop-up proves that diamonds really are a girl’s best friend

On June 18, VIPs gathered at Tatler House for an exclusive preview of Messika’s latest jewellery collections. Designed in the maison’s Paris atelier, these new creations feature diamonds mounted in settings inspired by the Wild West. Guests were pampered with private consultations by industry experts in an all-day event that kicked off summer in the city.

Designed by a woman, for women, the French Maison specialises in weaving timeless diamonds into contemporary designs. The resulting high jewellery pieces bring a sense of occasion to every day.

Founded in 2005, Messika draws inspiration from founder Valérie Messika's own roots—her lifelong passion was passed down by her diamond merchant father. Valérie has imbued the maison's high jewellery with convention-defying, creative craftsmanship.

The maison's high jewellery collection, Born to Be Wild, draws inspiration from the desert plains of America's wild west—a landscape that has long been a source of inspiration for Valérie. The collection comprises six jewellery sets, four of which were exhibited during the event: Wild Moon, Desert Bloom, Snake Dance and Diamond Catcher.

With diamonds set against wood and stones lighter than feathers, this new high jewellery collection is an artful response to nature, where diamonds become talismans, arranged and stacked like totems.  Born to Be Wild embodies the persona of a pioneering woman; a conqueror with a sensual and libertarian attitude.
