Louis Vuitton Les Pendentifs “Petites Malles”

A total of 3 trunks in classic yellow gold make up the collection which was created to honour the French House and its Art of Travel tradition.

If you won't be travelling anytime soon yet want a chance to sport a Louis Vuitton trunk, you can now do so on your neck.

That's right, in his first stint as the brand's new creative director, Nicolas Ghesquière has designed a collection of miniature trunk pendants called the Les Pendentifs “Petites Malles” in classic yellow gold meant for wearing as pendants. Translated to mean little trunks, they were premiered during the Louis Vuitton Fall-Winter 2014-2015 show.

Like the case designed to hold the trophy for the FIFA World Cup last July, each of the mini pendants are engraved with details to the T of their original regular-sized trunks and one of them can even be opened to mimic functionality. If you're in the throes of a bad wanderlust, these mini trunks can at least make up for it with the cute way they swing from the end of a chain with link-shaped locks.

A total of 3 trunks make up the collection which was created to honour the French House and its Art of Travel tradition -- a cubic one with an Epi gold, an opened one which presents compartments and padding, and a last one that is rectangular in shape and comes in a sandy gold.
