The inaugural Jewels & Time Week had kicked off with a bang on 15 August, when the watch- and jewellery-loving guests of Singapore Tatler gathered at Ion Sky for the opening cocktail. A panel discussion debated issues regarding design, which is the central theme for the year.

The 'week' continued with individual brand presentation sessions on 23, 27, and 28 August with some of the leading watch and jewellery brands in the industry—Jaeger-LeCoultre, Omega, Graff, IWC Schaffhausen, A. Lange & Söhne, and Chaumet. Each brand shared titbits about its history and design focus, with each brand having a different take on the topic.

Guests on 23 and 28 August were also invited to dine with us at TWG Tea, whose dinners were delicious and proved that the restaurant can be a destination even after teatime has ended.
