Don't miss two of Hong Kong's largest gem and jewellery events packed with exhibitions, seminars and networking events

As the saying goes, “Diamonds are a girl’s best friend,” and now its time to make your acquaintance with the world’s biggest jewellery and gem extravaganza in Hong Kong.
The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) will stage the fifth Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show from February 27 to March 3, 2018 at the AsiaWorld-Expo, and the 35th Hong Kong International Jewellery Show from March 1 to 5 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). The former is a trading platform for raw jewellery materials, while the latter is a showcase of fine jewellery and finished pieces.
Over the two massive gem and jewellery events, thousands of pieces from more than 4,500 global craftsmen will be on display—bringing worldly treasures to your fingertips (and wrists and necklines) from around 50 countries and regions, as well as presenting an opportunity like no other for both jewellers and buyers to connect and potentially tap into the Asian market.
But what makes the showcase extravagant is that these pieces are world-class: rings and necklaces and rocks and precious stones that are steeped in story and have travelled from places as far away as Australia and India; or from the Continent—France, Italy and Spain—and even the US and Turkey.
Spectacular jewellery collections have been separated into designated zones at the Jewellery Show, making it easier for visitors to find the treasures they seek, whether it's the Hall of Fame, the Hall of Extraordinary, the World of Glamour or Designer Galleria, to name a few.
With stunning collections of antique & vintage jewellery, jade jewellery, luxury timepieces and bridal jewellery that are not to be missed, this dual-event is truly the world’s best and most luxurious jewellery marketplace.
Through parades, seminars, buyer forums and networking events, the events connected by an all-convenient shuttle bus have curated a multi-faceted program for the industry to glean first-hand market intelligence and to make meaningful connections.
Here are the key events from both programs:
