Born in Russia and based in London, Perez founded her own website in 2013 and regularly uploads behind-the-scene shots of exclusive industry events onto her dazzling Instagram profile.

Perez was born into a Russian family that appreciates art, and she grew up surrounded by masterpieces by Ivan Shishkin, Ilya Repin and Ivan Aivazovsky. She says that her exposure to these creatives, as well as her grandmother's bursting jewellery box, is what led to her insatiable interest in all things sparkly.

@thediamondedit

Jessica Diamond is an established journalist with more than 15 years' experience working in the jewellery industry, which comes as no surprise considering her marvellous surname. Expect plenty of quirky crops and faded filters from her @thediamondedit feed.

Diamond has written for Condé Nast Traveller, The Sunday Telegraph, The Financial Times, Vanity Fair and Sotheby’s, and frequently posts whimsical photographs of one-of-a-kind creations from the industry's biggest names. Recent pictures showcase dagger-like ear cuffs by Messika and vintage high jewellery watches by Jaeger-LeCoultre.

Based in Munich, Hemmerle's jewellery is handcrafted and defined by innovative material combinations. Textured bronze is combined with moss-green emeralds, aluminium is married to purple amethysts, and copper is set with pale opals. @lucia_silvestri

As the creative director of Italian jewellery house Bulgari, Lucia Silvestri has earned her position among the world’s most notable jewellers. She was only 18 years old when she filled in for a woman who worked in Bulgari’s gemmology department while she was on maternity leave. “I was fortunate enough to have Paolo Bulgari, one of the grandsons of the founder of the maison, introduce me to the world of gemstones,” she told Tatler Asia in 2017.

Her tenure at Bulgari has now spanned more than 35 years, and the creative's Instagram is brimming with shots of Paraiba tourmalines and fancy-coloured diamonds. If that weren't enough, Silvestri also regularly gives us sneak peeks of the brand's historic workshops in Italy.

@victoiredecastellane

Victoire De Castellane’s outrageously oversized and extravagant pieces are instantly recognisable for their breathtaking beauty. De Castellane ripped up the rule book long ago and injects Dior Joaillerie’s jewellery with an avant garde madness that’s captivating.

Follow @victoiredecastellane for updates on Dior's brand ambassadors (including Cara Delevingne) as well as pictures of polished rubies, blue spinels, emeralds and yellow sapphires, which are among the many stones chosen to create Dior Joaillerie’s visually spectacular collections.
