Understated but elegant, the Butterfly Silhouette collection by Graff lends a touch of glamour to every occasion
Fluttering by on gossamer-light wings, the ethereal butterfly—believed to be a bearer of good fortune as well as a symbol of transformation and joy—has been a motif beloved at Graff ever since its first appearance as part of the house's Classic Butterfly collection. The jewels, composed of pear-shaped and marquise gemstones, are crafted with a delicate touch so as to capture the dynamic movement of the butterfly, resulting in works of art that are as captivating as they are brilliant.
“In the tradition of the great jewellers throughout history, we design jewels... that perfectly mimic the natural elegance of a butterfly,” says Anne-Eva Geffroy, design director at Graff. “This deceptively simple motif, which has become synonymous with Graff, has, over the decades, offered us endless opportunities for reinterpretation.”

This summer, the British jewellery house is expanding its butterfly kingdom with the Butterfly Silhouette collection. Created by Graff's master craftsmen, each butterfly jewel represents a precious snapshot in time, capturing the exact moment a butterfly settles, unfurling its iridescent wings.
