The British jewellery house offers an exclusive collection of settings for its engagement rings, each designed to bring out the best of the diamond
The tradition of wearing engagement rings and wedding bands on the fourth finger of the left hand stems from an ancient Roman belief that a vein running through the fourth finger also leads to the heart. Inspired by this romantic notion, Graff has created seven exclusive settings for engagement rings that showcase the extraordinary diamonds that were hand-picked by members of the Graff family.
An engagement ring is an everlasting symbol of a heartfelt love story and one that can turn into a potential heirloom. Each of the seven classic, elegant settings by Graff comes with its own backstory. Among the seven choices is the Promise setting, a tribute to the stunning 603-carat Lesotho Promise rough diamond that was subsequently cut and polished into 26 diamonds by Graff. The Promise features a solitaire diamond in the cut of your choice, complemented by two side stones.
The Icon setting gets its name from the 90.97 carat D Flawless Icon diamond that Graff cut and polished in 2000 and features a pavé diamond halo that brings out the sparkle of the diamond nestled within. The Flame setting, with its diamond pavé band, was inspired by the fiery rays of the 100 carat D Flawless and pear-shaped Flame diamond.
The Laurence Graff setting pays homage to Graff’s founder and his lifelong passion for diamonds, and is designed to highlight the many facets of a cut diamond. Similarly, the Laurence Graff Signature wedding band is the perfect accompaniment to the engagement ring, featuring a geometric pattern to represent the multiple facets of a diamond.
