An enchanted evening of jewellery, art and fine dining at teamLab Macao

Before the dinner, guests were led on a journey through the installation Valley of Flowers and People: Lost, Immersed and Reborn—where a parure comprising 182.24 carats of pear-shaped emeralds paid tribute to the regenerative power of nature—into Chopard’s universe, where more than 100 carats of oval-shaped rubies, each bearing diamond hems, took the form of blossoming flowers and models elegantly showcased a diverse collection of high jewellery, ranging from exquisite necklaces and mesmerising earrings to beautifully adorned cuff bracelets.

These are just a few of several pieces that featured in The Enchanted Eden, shining a light on the nature-inspired creations of Chopard. During the meal, talented violinist Olivia Dawn and flutist Zoe Lai also performed musical pieces composed with these exquisite designs in mind.

The arts are also central to the imaginative creations of Chopard. From the Red Carpet Collection, magical blue hues of sapphires are contrasted against the brilliance of diamonds, on a pair of chandelier earrings and a latticework necklace.

In addition to jewellery, the event also included a showcase of exceptional timepieces, among them the L.U.C Full Strike, which was given the Aiguille d’Or grand prize at the 2017 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève, the Oscars of the horology industry. Alongside an emerald and trapeze-cut diamond watch from the Imperiale collection, the arabesque motif of the palm leaf is the centrepiece of a diamond and ruby watch from the Green Carpet Collection.
