Featuring some of the rarest and most celebrated jewels and art pieces, take a peek inside Christie’s Spring Auction preview that took place for our Tatler friends last week

The Spring Auction season is arguably one of Christie’s biggest and most elaborate seasons of the year, and this year was no different thanks to an array of preview exhibitions that took place around the region as well as in Singapore.

As part of the showcase, Tatler Singapore, in collaboration with Christie’s, invited a number of special guests to an intimate dinner before the official showcase kicked off on April 23.

The dinner was held in the VIP dining room at Madame Fan, a modern Chinese restaurant serving Cantonese cuisine at The NCO Club at JW Marriott in Bugis.

Some highlights from the menu that evening include double-boiled abalone and sea whelk chicken soup, pineapple pork ribs, Boston lobster and a chilled coconut pudding with brown sugar pearls.

Among the notable pieces at the exhibition was the extensive Spring jewellery collection, which guests were invited to admire and try on.

These exquisite jewels include an 18.69 carat Harry Winston Colombia emerald ring. Guests were also invited to admire the artwork that had been placed around the venue that are set to be auctioned off by Christie’s.
