The leading Hong Kong jeweller's latest high jewellery collection, Reflections of Siem, is inspired by the majestic history of the Khmer Empire.

Chow Tai Fook unveiled its fourth annual high jewellery collection titled “Reflections of Siem” yesterday at Ion Sky. Inspired by the ruins in Siem Reap, every piece in this collection is deeply resonant of the strength and elegance of Cambodia, harking back to its glorious days when it was once a Khmer Empire.

The Chant

The Chant, an extravagant neck piece, is inspired by the towering trunks growing out of temple ruins. The 27.649-carat oval red tourmaline cabochon centre stone is set in an 18K yellow gold necklace comprising of chain tassels, dusted with rubies and yellow diamonds.

18K white gold necklace from The Zephyr set

Another highlight is The Zephyr set, consisting of an 18K white gold necklace, a bracelet, earrings and rings that signify water as a sign of freedom and a source of life. It has been translated into strings of Keshi pearls, pink diamond beads, purple and red tourmalines, with white and brown diamonds set on 18K white gold and rose gold chains.

The Halcyon set, another highlight, is inspired by the charming floating villages on the Tonle Sap Lake. The 18K gold series consists of various rectangular gems, made up of clear crystals, sapphires, aquamarines, tourmalines, lapis lazuli and yellow diamonds.

"Reflections of Siem" will be put on auction on October 12 in Hong Kong.
