Cover Bvlgari Kaleidos: dazzling colours, cultures and crafts

Tokyo had a sleepless night as Bvlgari unveiled its largest exhibition ever in Japan: Bvlgari Kaleidos: Colours, Cultures and Crafts, drawing a powerful guest list.

Tokyo became the global centre of attention as Bvlgari opened its grandest exhibition in Japan, Bvlgari Kaleidos: Colours, Cultures and Crafts at the National Art Center (NACT) on 16 September 2025. This vibrant journey unites nearly 350 masterpieces of jewellery and contemporary art, honouring Bvlgari’s legacy of colour craftsmanship while sparking a spirited dialogue between Italian and Japanese cultures.

The red carpet was ablaze with Asian stars. Kim Ji Won stunned in Morganite Exuberance High Jewellery, where pink morganite and green peridot struck a radiant harmony. Jang Wonyong appeared every inch a goddess in the Serpenti Shapeshifting Emerald necklace, centred with an almost 18-carat Colombian emerald that drew every gaze. Hikari Mori opted for sophisticated allure in the Chalcedony Sinuosity set, a striking pairing of chalcedony and rubellite. Aya Omasa channelled classic elegance with the Emerald Lightscape parure and Serpenti Aeterna watch, glittering in emeralds and diamonds.
