Following weeks of rumors, the virtual Samsung unveiling included a look at the new Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, and more cutting edge devices in the Galaxy ecosystem

Samsung has this week unveiled its latest line up of Galaxy power devices via a virtual live streaming event. The first-ever Galaxy Unpacked virtual event, which usually takes place in New York City, was hosted virtually from Seoul and included a total of five new devices.

The new line of devices were conceptualised with the idea to “seamlessly integrate to empower consumers navigating a rapidly changing world,” meaning that each product was made to function in harmony with the rest, making the user’s life as easy as possible.

The impressive unveiling included a look at the Galaxy Note20 and Galaxy Note20 Ultra; the Tab S7 and S7+, tablets crafted with productivity and creativity in mind; the Galaxy Watch3 luxury smartwatch; bean-shaped Galaxy Buds Live earbuds; as well as the highly anticipated Galaxy Z Fold2, the second generation foldable smartphone with enhanced features, including a larger screen and more durable build.

“Never before have we relied on technology like we are today. It’s how we are staying connected as we navigate the extraordinary challenges faced around the world,” said Dr. TM Roh, President and Head of Mobile Communications Business, Samsung Electronics in a press release. “Technology must make life easier, not more complex. That’s why we have introduced five new power devices. Alone, these devices are powerful tools to help you maximize work and play. Together, as part of the Galaxy ecosystem, they work together seamlessly so you can spend your time focused on what matters most.”

The Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra will begin shipping out as of August 21, with the Galaxy Z Fold 2 being made available early next month. The Galaxy Buds Live wireless earbuds as well as the Galaxy Watch 3 on the other hand, will be available as of today (August 6).
