iPhone 6 users can now turn their phones into full-on digital cameras, thanks to the invention of a new case for mobile photography.

"Moment Case" incorporates the best features of a traditional camera, allowing budding photographers to take pictures quick as a flash while on the move.

A shutter button on the top of the case means that users no longer have to waste valuable time reaching for and unlocking their phones but can instead simply carry them around their necks using the case and "point and shoot" when the moment arises.

The shutter button can also be used to focus the shot, and a touch and slide feature lets users adjust the lighting settings on screen. The case features a rubberized grip for added stability.

The brainchild of Moment, which first hit the scene last year with its high-spec lens for iPhone, the case is currently listed on crowdfunding website Kickstarter and has nearly triped its target of $100,000 with weeks to go.

It can be pre-ordered for $49 and is expected to start shipping in June.
