Good news, Apple fans: you can now get the latest products in stores here in Singapore

The long wait is over: the latest Apple products are starting to roll into stores globally, so you can now get your hands on the iMac, which comes in seven vibrant colours, the powerful new iPad Pro and the Apple TV 4K.

Announced last month at a special event, the tech giant unveiled its new family of products, with Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice-president of worldwide marketing, promising that they would take things to "an entirely new level”.

The hottest ticket has surely been the new range of iMacs, Apple's first update to the line since 2017. Besides the colourful new bodies it boasts, the iMac also comes with the brand's breakthrough M1 chip (allowing it to process information more powerfully), a 4.5K retina display, a 1080p FaceTime HD camera, studio-quality mics, and a six-speaker sound system.

Also launching today is the Apple TV 4K, which comes with the A12 Bionic chip, giving it a powerful boost in terms of graphics performance, video decoding, and audio processing. What this means is that you will be able to get to watch cinema-quality shows, right from the comfort of home, and, with the help of the new Siri Remote, you'll be able to enjoy all your favourite shows and movies more intuitively.

Last but definitely not least (and the release I'm most excited about), the brand new iPad Pro is also hitting stores today. It definitely lives up to its name, with its 12.9-inch Liquid Retina XDR display, 5G capability and faster processing speed thanks to the M1 chip.

The iPad Pro also boasts a new 12MP Ultra Wide front camera, which enables a vital new function—Centre Stage, a new experience for video calls. This means that as users move around a space while making a video call, the camera tracks and pans automatically to keep them in shot. How cool is that?

In our Zoom-centric times, this feature is sure to find good use.

The iMac, iPad Pro and Apple TV 4K are now available at all Apple Store locations and authorised resellers.
