Capable of going from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds (the BMW M5 does this in 3.4 seconds), this new car also has increases the number of driving situations where the electric motor of the car is solely used to power the car, therefore reducing emissions.

The high-voltage battery in the new i8 model now also features an increased cell capacity of 33 Ah, versus the previous 20 Ah, with an increased motor output of 105 kW.

Its sleek updated exterior design features optimised aerodynamics, allowing air to be channelled efficiently thanks to a combination of smart design choices that don't sacrifice functionality over style.

Not just stylish on the outside, its interior further drives home the dynamic sporty design concept embodied by the car.

BMW proclaims that all of the car's controls and display elements are within perfect optimal reach of the driver, providing excellent legibility, such as a dynamic head-up display that delivers all the relevant information to the driver without the need to take their eyes off the road.
