1. Leica Q2

The impressive Leica QC carries a variety of impressive features that are representative of the Leica brand. This particular model is a step up from the Q1 model and offers impressive camera quality to capture every detail. There’s a 47.3MP sensor and an electric viewfinder that’s impressibly bright and sharp. Videos boast 4K quality and a 28mm f/1.7 lens. Those who want to try something more artistic can choose the Leica Q2 Monochrom, which is a niche camera that only shoots in black and white.

2. Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark III

Aspiring vloggers may be familiar with the Canon PowerShot G7X. It’s often a hit with social media influencers—even Kylie Jenner’s been spotted vlogging with it. Of course, the reason it’s so popular is that it has plenty to offer: a flip-up LCD screen, sensitive touchscreen features, 30fps shooting capability (at full resolution), and in-camera Raw processing. Its Wi-Fi feature allows quick transfers between images and videos from camera to phone, and it comes with an adorable pop-up flash that users can use whenever is needed.

3. Fujifilm X100V

The strengths that made the Fujifilm X100F so popular find an upgrade in the Fujifilm X100V. The two models share the same concept: a stylish, portable, yet ultra-efficient camera. However, in the X100V, users find a redesigned lens that improves image quality. It also has a higher resolution hybrid viewfinder and support for 4K/30p video recording.

4. Panasonic Lumix TZ200

Need something to take with you on your next trip? Consider the Panasonic Lumix TZ200, which finds a compact handheld camera with an incredibly strong long zoom lens. This allows travellers to capture magnificent views, vistas, or panoramas from even the furthest of distances. There’s 15x zoom, an electronic viewfinder, and a 4K video all integrated with a sensitive touchscreen interface. For something simple yet powerful and offers an all-in-one ability, the Panasonic Lumix TZ200 is for you.

5. Polaroid Go

Photography doesn’t always have to be so technical, sometimes it should simply be fun. For something you and your friends can enjoy, choose the Polaroid Go. This hip compact camera is all the rage and is capable of producing instant prints that capture moments in impressive detail. It’s incredibly simple: just point-and-shoot, but it’s a whole lot of fun and is perfect for immortalising times you simply want to remember. The Polaroid Go also allows for a self-timer feature, as well as double-exposure modes so you can get creative with your shots. Though it’s not the first choice for professional photographers, the Polaroid Go is proving to be a popular choice for many others.
