The lush blooms photographed by Steven Meisel are well worth the wall space.

Wunderkind fashion designer Jonathan Anderson has not only transformed Spanish luxury label Loewe with his magic touch, but he is also aiming to redefine little luxuries in our daily life. The fashion marque’s latest release is a limited edition 2017 calendar, featuring 13 exquisite photographs of lush floral arrangements captured by lens maestro Steven Meisel that would not look out of place on a gallery wall.

Meisel is one of the fashion industry’s most respected photographers and has played a crucial role in inspiring creative director Anderson’s work for Loewe. Anderson has cited Meisel’s work as a crucial reference point when he assumed his position at the LVMH-owned label and the latter has since worked with the fashion house for all its campaigns.

These still-life images of flowers in the calendar pay homage to the life and work of British pioneer Constance Spry, who reinvented floral design in the 1930s-50s with her unconventional approach and fresh perspective.

Besides offering insight into Loewe’s aesthetic, this calendar also a savvy way to bring a fresh touch of art and everyday beauty to your home or study - and you’ll even get to display a new “bouquet” every month.

Steven Meisel’s “Flowers” 2017 calendar is now available at Loewe Paragon.
