Style tips from the founder of The Good Co. café, and a look at her new wardrobe additions.

The lady boss behind The Good Co. is a walking, talking testament of how healthy eating habits puts us in our best form ever. Levy Li, the slender and striking founder of Bangsar’s hottest vegetarian café famous for photogenic smoothie bowls, is also a devoted mother and Instagram icon in her own right.

When Levy isn’t hitting up the road or attending events, a typical day sees her splitting time between her son and checking in on her other baby, the café. Levy undertakes a hands-on approach to running her business – even if it means rolling up the sleeves of her pretty outfits, her smile doesn’t falter. On a recent visit to her haute space, the former beauty queen whipped up a smoothie bowl for us to try.

Our intimate afternoon with Levy revolved around all things fashion, where she shared about labels she’s obsessed with and her ultimate guilty shopping pleasure, among others. Between bursts of laughter and in a mini style video,  she divulged to us some fun fashion facts.

Tell me about your 3 outfits today.
“The first one is a vegan leather ensemble of vest and skorts from Arissa X, a new label by Singaporean style icon, Arissa Cheo. I like her punk and chic style a lot. I paired this with wedges from a Korean designer I picked up in Thailand.

My second outfit is a furry white blouse by Korean designer J’ by Ji Soon, accessorised with a denim corset from Zara.

The third outfit is a jacket from Singaporean label called Good Company (laughs), and a skirt by a Thai designer. Jewellery bangles is a mix of Hermes, Bulgari and Cartier. I’m an impulse shopper and travel a lot, so it’s sometimes hard to keep track of the brands I bought!”

What are the trends you’re currently obsessed with?
“Street wear, for sure. My tribute to this trend would be to put on sweats, a T-shirt and a jacket. It’s very much the look of both labels Off White or Yohji Yamamoto, or Joe Chia. Super fuss-free but with a low-key street vibe.”

Do you have a guilty pleasure when it comes to shopping?
“I collect shoes. I’m a crazy shoe person. Right now, I’ve got two 12-feet wardrobe filled with shoes!”

What’s the best thing you ever bought?
“A pair of Rick Owen x adidas collaboration sneakers. It’s a limited edition and I managed to get it overseas!”

What is one item that adds a major difference to any outfit?
“Definitely a neck piece. You can wear just simple one on normal days or put on a statement necklace to stand out!”
