Dramatic gowns, lustrous jewellery, and distinct silhouettes—it’s couture galore at the 81st Venice Film Festival
As August comes to a close, the annual Venice International Film Festival rolls out the red carpet once again, inviting a constellation of A-list stars and industry elites to the scenic island of Lido for a grand showcase of cinematic excellence.
From August 28 to September 7, filmmakers and actors will be unveiling their latest projects at the prestigious affair, each vying for the coveted spotlight as one of the finest cinematic works that are set to hit the screens.
And this year’s line-up of premieres has no shortage of feverishly anticipated films, including Joker: Folié a Deux starring Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix, Luca Guadagnino’s Queer, Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice Beetlejuice starring Jenna Ortega, Winona Ryder, Monica Bellucci, and Willem Dafoe, and Baby Girl starring Nicole Kidman and Harris Dickinson, just to name a few.
